MUSIC REVIEW - FAT JOE, DRE & LIL WAYNE: PULLIN'

Anytime we hear that “Listennn!”, and that “This is, This is”…we get extra hype!

So, here we are again WITH another banger that can equate to the same thump and feeling that we first heard and felt in/with “All The Way Up”, but with a way darker/menacing tone THANKS TO DRE (From cool & dre) & 808-ray. The best way to describe the feeling we get when hearing this song and its vibe is….#DrugDealingSamuraiSlicingHeadsInTheDarkMusic. If only the song and verses were longer!

Fat Joe is a living legend, and we aren’t sure if he gets the recognition that he deserves, but hands down, he is a hit-maker, and is able to adapt to any beat. we feel that joe is still finding his voice, to this day, and stands out the most when he brings that beastly/gorilla energy to hard-hitting beats such as this one. his growth is like no other, and still manages to be that breath of fresh air on any track that he is on. especially when it is a collaborative effort, he stands out.

With his frequent video collaborator Eif Rivera, the visuals to this track definitely match the “I am a martian” concept, as stated in the song by Dre. Check out the video below!

We are really excited for this “Family Ties” project to drop, but we wonder what a full project from Joe Crack and Lil Wayne would sound like in 2019, or even 2020? if there was anyone that could challenge each other when it comes to collaboratively creating music, it would be these guys. They have collaborated numerous times on the same track and sound great together, like a dynamic duo of sorts. if anyone can get wayne out the house, it’s joe, But we guess this’ll have to do for now. We love you Joey!
